Sharing the Gospel with others is the theme of this year’s Appeal. It reminds us that faith is not only something we believe but also something we live and share with others through care, compassion, and service.
Sharing the Gospel means bringing God’s love into everyday moments. It is shown through kindness, support, and a willingness to help those in need. Through the ministries of our diocese, this spirit of the Gospel reaches people at every stage of life.

Across our communities, the Gospel is lived out when families receive guidance, young people grow in faith, future priests are formed, and individuals find help during difficult times. These moments may be quiet, but they reflect Christ’s presence in powerful ways.
One Mission, Shared by Many
Our ministries help us serve more people by working together, extending the Church’s mission beyond individual parishes to where hope and care are needed most.
Each ministry plays a role in sharing the Gospel through education, outreach, charity, and faith formation. All of these help to strengthen both our Church and our Long Island community.
Faith in Action
Jesus shared the Gospel by meeting people where they were and responding with love. That same call continues today. When we support the work of our Church, we help turn faith into action and make Christ’s love visible in the world.
Sharing the Good News
Sharing the Gospel is a responsibility we share as Catholics. It is lived through service, generosity, and a commitment to care for one another. Together, we carry the Good News forward, today and for future generations.
