Our MISSION

Pope Francis has said, "Holiness doesn't mean doing extraordinary things, but doing ordinary things with love and faith."  We can realize this missionary call through the support of the Catholic Ministries Appeal, as we unite as One Family in Mission building together a community of faith, hope and love.

The Catholic Ministries Appeal supports formation programs that prepare our priests, deacons and lay leaders; train our religious education catechists and adult faith formation leaders who educate our youth and parish families; provide food and housing programs that serve our seniors, disadvantaged families, people with special needs, and those struggling with substance abuse; and promote the sanctity of life at all stages. Working together, we are all enriching the lives of our brothers and sisters on Long Island.

quote Of The Month

"O my God, let me remember with gratitude and confess to thee thy mercies toward me.” –St. Augustine of Hippo.

Our services are more than providing food.  Whatever the needs that come through the door, are the services we help with.
